Our Global Responsibility Report

Global Responsibility

We've always believed that businesses can - and should - have a positive impact on the communities they serve.

So ever since we opened our first store in 1971, we dedicated ourselves to earning the trust and respect of our customers, partners and neighbors. How? By being responsible and doing things that are good for the planet and each other.

Ethical Sourcing

We’re committed to buying and serving the highest-quality, responsibly grown, ethically traded coffee to help create a better future for farmers and a more stable climate.

Fairtrade

We have been working with Fairtrade for over 10 years but since March 2010, the espresso drinks served by Starbucks in all its coffee houses in The Netherlands and Europe have been made exclusively from coffee that is 100% certified by Fairtrade and the Starbucks™ Shared Planet™ program. Community Involvement

We’re committed to being a good neighbor and to bringing together our partners (employees), our customers and their communities.
